Background
PTML is a subsidiary of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) that started its operations in January 2001 under the brand name ‘Ufone’. As a result of PTCL’s privatization, Ufone became a part of the Emirates Telecommunication Corporation Group (Etisalat) in 2006.
Situation
This was most critical network backbone of PTML, hence convincing customer on migration planning was challenging. But due to the high reliability and trusted history, project was awarded to NETS jointly with Cisco who ensured customer satisfaction while still completing the project within timeline.
Entire project was led and delivered by a highly skilled, experienced and technical team at NETS who worked in close coordination with Cisco Professional Services team to design and roll out this project as a turnkey solution. 100G expansion project was completed successfully as per Project Management and ISO standards within budget & timelines.
