NETS International, in collaboration with the Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA), successfully conducted a five-day Fiber Optic Access Network Training Program in Mithi, Tharparkar, extending specialised telecommunications training to one of Sindh’s remote regions.
Delivered as a free initiative under NETS International’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the program aimed to strengthen local technical skills and expand access to industry-relevant education.
Participants received theoretical and hands-on training in fiber preparation, fusion splicing, termination, OTDR testing, fault identification, optical loss testing and FTTH deployment practices.
Through this collaboration, NETS International and STEVTA continue to support technical education, local talent development and greater participation in Pakistan’s growing telecommunications and digital infrastructure sector.
